What type of monopod would you sugest for taking sporting event pictures? - monopod in use at sporting event

I work for a newspaper to participate pictures of sporting events. I know that people taking pictures with a monopod. Suggest what should I buy? i havent ever looked into buying one, but would be ideal for use at night to keep the camera steady. Thanks

A monopod to reduce camera shake. Sometimes I use lenses to go with a great light, but made so you can afford to carbon fiber. Many of the manufacturers who make good tripods. Bow and Gitzo Induro know.

You do not really need a monopod. Most of them are ok but. Another reason sports photographers have is to leave the camera, so it is not so difficult. With photos, sports, should be a fast enough shutter to have to stop the movement of the camera Theres no need to order. I think if you can manage you better results without the monopod. I also have lens? I use a Canon 70-200 mm f/2.8 L IS and 100-400 on the day. Anything less will not weigh you really need, because even with my 100-400 I try not to be used.
